About Steve Herman

The newest member of the Nelson Commercial Real Estate Team,  Steve joined NCR in January 2024 after a 25 year career in broadcast television.  His TV travels included stops in Upstate New York, West Virginia, Florida and Oklahoma.  But six years as President & General Manager at KDLT-TV convinced Steve that South Dakota is the best place on earth!  For 13 years, he published Coffee News for Sioux Falls and the region.  Steve has a BS degree in Chemistry from St. Lawrence University, but admits he does not make a good martini nowadays.  With wife Laurie they have two grown children.  Golf occupies a lot of his free time.  Steve looks forward to working with clients large and small while bringing a knack for good customer service to the commercial real estate business.
